Order portal with product configurators
A building materials company needed customers to configure and price products themselves, and needed to change those prices later without a developer.
Built the portal from scratch; it is still in production. Six product lines, each with its own pricing rules: dimensions validated against the ranges the product allows, option groups that switch each other on and off, and options that change the coefficient applied to those dimensions. A finished configuration becomes an order, and the company edits the rules and the prices itself through an admin panel.

React Native apps needed on-device text-to-speech rendered into audio files, offline.
Authored the Expo native module in Swift and Kotlin behind one typed TypeScript API. Speech input takes SSML and IPA as well as plain text, so pronunciation is specified rather than guessed by the platform voice. Verified on physical iOS and Android devices; CI compiles it for iOS and Android on every pull request and runs typecheck, lint and 40+ tests.

Editors needed to keep authoring in WordPress while the content ships inside a mobile app.
Built a custom WP plugin: create/edit content via the WordPress REST API with seamless delivery into the React Native app.

Public engineering work
A Claude Code host-freeze incident needed a root cause, not a workaround.
Traced it to the vendored ugrep, shipped a deterministic reproduction, then verified the upstream fix on the original artifact: 7,569 MiB peak down to 347 MiB.

About

React, React Native, Next.js and TypeScript, and Swift and Kotlin where an app has to reach the platform itself, as in expo-tts-file, an open source Expo module for on-device speech synthesis. Dozens of client sites and internal systems delivered end to end: scoping, UI design, development, launch and support. One of them, an order portal, is still in production and lets the company change its own pricing rules without a developer. Built a landlord and tenant portal from scratch, the full product from data model to interface, and coordinated the development team on it. BS and MS in Mathematics, with an emphasis on mathematical logic and theory of algorithms. Now pursuing an MSCS (AI) at Westcliff University, Orlando, researching LLM tooling and agentic development with the Claude API and Claude Code.
